Iris keeps a dated, sourced record of what changes in points and miles programs. This page describes exactly what Iris stores when you use the Exposure Check, and what it does not do with it. Last updated September 2026.
The programs you select. The balances you choose to type, which are optional. An anonymous identifier stored in your browser so that returning to the page does not start a new record. The channel you arrived from, when a link carries one. Your email address, only if you enter it.
To show you which verified changes affected the programs you hold, to size what a dated change does to a balance you entered, and — if you gave an email address — to tell you when the next change lands.
Iris does not sell or rent your data. Iris does not share it with card issuers, airlines, hotels or loyalty programs. Iris earns no commission from any of them. Iris does not run advertising. Iris never asks for a login, a password, a card number or access to any account. Balances you type are sent to the server and are never placed in the page address, so they are not exposed by sharing a link.
Balances are stored as a dated record that is never edited or overwritten, because a record that can be rewritten cannot show what changed. Your email address is kept until you unsubscribe or ask for deletion. The browser identifier stays until you clear your browser storage.
Write to the address below and ask. Iris deletes your email address and the records tied to it. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
